Using a person-centred approach, offers a warm, non-judgement, and empathetic environment where you can:
I tailor each session to your unique needs, whether you're looking for short-term support or deeper emotional exploration.
Why I Became a Counsellor
Throughout my life, I've seen how important it is to have someone truly listen without judgement, without pressure, just with understanding. That's why I became a counsellor, to offer people the space to be heard, supported, and empowered to move forward in their own way.
I work with individuals from all walks of life, supporting them through challenges such as anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, grief, and personal growth. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply in need of someone to talk to, I'm here to help.
Next Steps - Let's Talk
Taking the first step can feel daunting, but you don't have to do it alone. If you're considering counselling, I offer a free 15 minute initial consultation so we can talk about what you need and how I can help.
A life-changing event led me to counselling for the first time. After the sudden loss of a loved one, I struggled to navigate my grief. Being given a safe, confidential space to explore my feelings, allowed me to find a path toward healing. The experience made such a profound impact on me that I decided to train as a counsellor. As a mature counsellor, I bring the richness of life experience into my practice. Whether this is your first time seeking help or you are continuing your journey toward well-being know that you are not alone.

Asking for help isn't easy, For years, I believed that the best way to handle life's challenges was to "bottle them up," hoping they would eventually fade away. But in reality, this only led to issues with anxiety, low mood, frustration, and sometimes even panic, Does this sound familiar?
Just as it did for me, counselling could be the key to helping you understand the root cause of your feelings and address their impact once and for all. Starting counselling can feel daunting, but I am here to create a safe, welcoming , and supportive environment for you. Here's what you can expect during our sessions:
First Session Overview
In our first session, we'll begin by discussing our working contract. This contract sets out our mutual commitments, ensuring we build a safe, confidential foundation for our work together. I'll ask a few general questions such as your address and GP details, as well as some questions about your experiences over the last few weeks. This initial information will help us understand the reasons that brought you to counselling and clarify what you'd like to focus on during our time together.
Ongoing Sessions
Our sessions are open-ended, meaning they can adapt to your pace and needs. In each session, we'll review your progress and changes in your circumstances, making sure our work together remains relevant and effective. You'll have the oppertunity to share your thoughts and feelings in a non-judgemental environment, and together we'll explore the challenges you're facing. My goal is to support you in achieving your personal goals and fostering a sense of well-being.
